Hi, In the ODD event that i upgrade using your method and find it doesnt work for me, is there a way to roll back to the factory settings e.g the origianl firmware/software as it was out of the box.

You press the down volume,the central hard key and then the power button simultaneously.I'm sure you have already found it though..

Hi amit.. I'm sorry if I sound stupid but when I tried the VOLUME DOWN + CENTER HOME BUTTON + POWER BUTTON (END CALL) I only get the "Emergency dload mode" thing.. it's not like the screenshot.. I'm using i5503. What am i doing wrong here?

i just got my as well two more galaxy3 upgraded to froyo. am using it from past 1 week. its great and fun. its like getting remarried. so many new things to discover. i am loving it. i got my up-gradation at authorized samsung service center (Indore, M.P.). they took 15 min for each piece and did it for free of cost. i backed up all my data on SD card as well my laptop. new changes are great. good they brought changes to their keypad. Gmail has changed, so much more.

i'm not able to get to "Download" mode!

could you please give instructions -- which 3 buttons exactly? (the lined button at the left side --or is it the central button -- which usually gets yo back to main menu ..)??

i updated my galaxy to froyo today via KIES....
it's the worst thing that could have happened to me....
sound is much less louder than eclair.....
restoring messages backup is totally mess......
all in all..... it wasn't worth waiting.... m gonna root it tomorrow...
